Presented by Wendy Volz-Daniels, MSW, LCSW

January 16, 2019

Crowne Plaza, Milwaukee Airport

In 2017, the Delegate Assembly of the NASW approved many changes to the Code of Ethics. This is only the second time that the Code has been updated since 1996. Along with other areas that were updated, significant to the updates are references to the use of technology in social work practice. This workshop will provide participants with ethical and practice guidance from the 2017 revisions to the Code and include discussion of the NASW and ASWB Standards for Technology and Social Work Practice as well as the NASW Standards for Cultural Competence in Social Work Practice. The use of an ethical decision making model will also be practiced.
