SOCIAL WORKER ADRC - VERNON COUNTY
is accepting applications for a part-time Social Worker in the Aging & Disability Resource Center(ADRC), Human Services Department in Vernon County. The position provides such duties as processing new referrals, completing the Functional and Financial Screen to determine eligibility for Family Care or IRIS, and offering options counseling to individuals who are elderly, physically disabled, developmentally disabled, and those who are experiencing a mental illness or substance abuse issue This position is dependent upon funding. Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work (or any related college degree such as Sociology, Psychology, or Criminal Justice) and one year of responsible social work experience. Will consider other acceptable equivalent combinations of experience and training. Requires certification by the State of Wisconsin as a Social Worker. Wage commensurate with experience. Director of Services for Domestic Abuse Intervention Services – Dane Co.:
This position is responsible for oversight of all client services at Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS). The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field and at least 7 years working as a supervisor in a non-profit organization. Ho-Chunk Nation Black River Falls, WI - Mental Health Clinician
Master’s degree in clinical Social Work, A.C.S.W. or Psychology preferred with three years experience working in Mental Health field. Completion of 3,000 hours Post Master’s supervised clinical hours and license to practice in the State of WI necessary. Knowledge of theory, principles and practices of counseling psychology and the application of such principles to the diagnosis of treatment of clients. Must be well versed in family and group dynamics. Knowledge of types, uses, administrations and interpretations of standardized testing. Skill in behavioral observation. Ability to establish and maintain good professional relationships with staff members and the community. Ability to establish rapport with clients, secure their cooperation in difficult situations and maintain their confidence. Ability to consult and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must have a valid driver’s license, liability insurance and dependable transportation.
