Branch meeting are conducted by phone conference now in an effort to get more members involve.  We meet once per month for an hour.  The next meeting is scheduled for Dec. 3 at 5:30.  Please call or email me if you would like specific information regarding our next meeting and agenda items, and how to call in for the phone conference.  We are also interested in hearing topics you are interested in discussing – so please consider joining us.

As promised, the Southwest Branch of the National Association of Social Workers will begin having regular meetings. They will be held the second Tuesday of the month at five o'clock, every other month in the Gundersen Lutheran Cafeteria Board Room.

Initially, we will have a loose agenda that will include an update on the efforts of the state NASW Chapter, updates on community events and a discussion of current practice issues of concern. This is an important forum to identify issues that can be brought forward to address by our state representation.  If you have a concern in your practice or have ideas to share, this is a great opportunity to be heard, do some brainstorming, and make changes with the support of local social workers and NASW!
