Sometimes traveling to a continuing education workshop is difficult, expensive or impractical. For all those reasons, NASW WI has you covered. We offer a variety of options: one hour workshops held over the lunch hour, an Ethics and Boundaries session and a BSW/MSW Exam Preparation workshop.
If you have never taken a webinar, it’s easy! No special programs or equipment are required: participants receive a log-in link to the webinar site and a the number for a conference call. You can attend from your home or office, and enjoy high quality and affordable continuing education without the drive.

This webinar will assist you in preparing for the national exams for Wisconsin BSW or MSW-level social work certification/licensure including APSW, LCSW and CISW. It will include an overview of the exam, information about test-taking strategies, a review of social work content and analysis of sample questions.
The workshops will be led by Matt Mattila, MSW, CISW. He is a professor in the Department of Social Work at UW Green Bay, where he joined the faculty in 2005. He has over fifteen years practice experience with children and families in child welfare and family court services agencies, and many years of experience as a social work lecturer and trainer. His practice interests include child welfare, forensic social work and adult education. He is committed to helping prepare the next generation of social workers to meet the challenges of effective practice.
