CONTINUING EDUCATION

2009 - 2011 Credential Period will be from March 1, 2009 – February 28, 2011

Certificate holders will only be required to complete a total of thirty (30) Continuing Education Hours. A minimum of 20 hours must be in facilitated workshops which must include four hours of Ethics and Boundaries. This includes workshops, in-service training, live teleconferences or web classes with an instructor and peer interaction.

Certificate holders may earn up to 10 Continuing Education Hours through self study. Self study includes audio programs and self directed on-line classes. Ethics and Boundaries credits may not be earned through self study classes.

If you are preparing to take your national licensing exam and would like to increase your understanding of what the test will be like and how to prepare for it, our popular BSW and MSW Exam Preparation Workshops are here to help.

The workshops will be led by Joanne Barndt, ACSW, LCSW, Clinical Associate Professor Emerita of the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare at UW Milwaukee. She has substantial experience in child welfare, clinical, and health care settings. She has helped prepare hundreds of students for their exams.

HOME STUDY AUDIO PROGRAM MAKES IT EASY
TO EARN CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS

NASW WI CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS POLICY

If you need to cancel your registration, refunds less a $25.00 cancellation fee are available until seven days before the workshop date. After this date, no refunds will be processed. No-shows forfeit their payment. You may transfer your registration to attend this workshop at a different date without penalty provided you inform us at the email address above at least 24 hours before the workshop.
